AMAZON SUP TOUR

We meet in the village of Virpazar. The boat will take us in the direction of the fisherman's village, Karuč. This is a half-day activity. The support boat is close by at all times.

First we take time for a safety debrief and practice on the boat paddle strokes. Once we are all ready, we go one by one on the water. After we take some time to practise how to operate boards before we head off exploring.

Soon we are off to start exploring part of the lake, which will remind you of the Amazon Forest. And the locals even called it the Amazon of Lake Skadar. The path is surrounded by lush forest, birds, dragonflies, reeds, and lily flowers. In the middle we do a stop in the water lilies, where we take a breath and dive into vibrant surroundings. We paddle through two channels, and once we are back out in the open, we can spend the rest of the time swimming and enjoying the surroundings. The whole SUP tour is about 4 km.

On the boat ride back to Virpazar we serve fruits and snacks, and you can relax on the sun deck.

We prepare a light snack for you. Water and local homemade pomegranate juice are served on the boat.

Starting point: Virpazar

The boat will pick you up in Virpazar village at 7am. There is free parking on-site. 1-hour boat ride to the starting point.
